The Mount Nelson is set on nine acres of landscaped gardens at the foot of Table Mountain, just a short stroll from the city centre. The hotel offers 201 luxurious and individually decorated rooms and suites, with air conditioning, mini bar, telephone and satellite tv.

Hotel facilities include two restaurants, a champagne & cocktail bar, an elegant lounge, two heated swimming pools, floodlit tennis courts, a body care centre, a hairdressing salon, a fully equipped gymnasium, a golf practice net, two gift shops and a business centre.

Chauffer driven transfers can be arranged to Cape Town International Airport and complimentary shuttles are offered to the V&A Waterfront and International Convention Centre.

Each of the 56 suites and 145 bedrooms are individually furnished and provided with fully appointed private bathrooms.

Non smoking rooms, inter-leading rooms, suites and paraplegic facilities and rooms with balconies are available on request. 

Telephones are provided in bathrooms, at bedsides and on each writing desk. Each has a voice-mail, wake-up call as well as a data port facility.
